The Suite is dedicated to the owner’s haunt wife of the painter from Mantua Archimede Bresciani da Gazoldo, whose paintings decorate some of the rooms and the dining room of the castle. It is characterized by a bright and comfortable drawing room, whose windows overlook the suggestive hills landscape of the Crete Senesi. The Suite is adorned by an old carpet and silk curtain on a tender apricot shade.

GUARDIACACCIA

A delicious tiny suite under the roof of the master’s villa, made of two bedrooms, a bathroom and a confortable sitting room. In ancient times it was the residence of the warden of the game reserve of the Tenuta di San Fabiano. We chose raw fabrics and golden colors to highlight the simplicity and at the same time the refinement of this place. The windows of the suite overlook the park.

IL PITTORE

The suite is dedicated to the painter Archimede Bresciani da Gazoldo, who was the first husband of the owner’s great aunt. There are also works of other contemporary artists, friends of the owners. The suite is on the second floor in the castle’s tower and it has been recently renovated by the owners choosing colors that remind to the surrounding garden: lavender for the livingroom, acid green and fuchsia pink for the bedrooms, green stripes for the bathroom.

DONNA BEATRICE

Dedicated to the Duchess Beatrice Lante della Rovere, grandmother of the owner, It represents her young spirit with elegant furnishings and contrasting color tones: gold and burgundy come together perfectly with the silk drapes hanging from the wall. The painted wrought-iron beds, the furniture style, the silk curtains and the ancient wood-heated stove create an atmosphere of living in the past. The modern bathroom and other facilities together with a cupboard complete the rooms elegant look.

It is characterized by the collection of furniture Luis XIV style, with the delicate sage green color, with the authentic bed with head in Wien straw, belonged to a romantic ten ager of the past century, the future mother of the current owner of the house. We wanted to highlight the romantic mood by using silk fabrics in different shades of pink, recalling the color of the carpet. The room is completed by a bright bathroom – with tub and shower – with an open view on the park surrounding the castle.

CLASSIC ROOM

DONNA LAVINIA

It is dedicated to the owner’s mother, who often spent her resting times in this corner of Tuscany. The window, overlooking the Garden of Esquires, makes the guest embrace with the glimpse the landscape of Senese Hills. It is characterized by the Louis XVI wardrobe and silk curtains: the Madonna’s painting in golden leaf on a crimson background, the carpet, the small sink, the old stove make of it a cosy place, in its refined simplicity.
